From “Promposals” to the Prom! Hiring a photographer for pre prom sessions are becoming very popular among high schools across America. I was so glad I got to capture this fun group (my son is pictured below)! Before our session, I gave a few ideas for them to get creative with their couples/individual shots, that always makes for fun pictures! The prom dresses were absolutely gorgeous and the all the girls looked beautiful…..Guys you looked very handsome as well! Proms will always be something they will remember, I thought it would be fun to create a slideshow for them.

Congratulations to Emily & Tate on getting engaged!! I was so excited when Tate contacted me about photographing his proposal to his fiance Emily. This was the first proposal session I have photographed and it was so sweet! When I met Tate we discussed how he was going to propose and I suggested a few of my locations that best fit who they are. The location he chose, “The Enchanted Forest” (one of my secret spots), was perfect for his proposal…..it reminds me of a Fairytale! Here are a few of my favorites.

You may be wondering what a concept session is or what this is for? A concept session for me is a way to express my creativity and my vision and to be able to step outside the box in a different way or a different style. It fuels my creativity and pushes me to be a better photographer and to see things from a different perspective. I know you all have waited long enough and I am so excited to be able to finally share this gorgeous session with you all…..WOW!
I started planning this idea in late summer and wanted to shoot in the fall so that most of the leaves from the trees would be gone. A very nature-inspired look and feel was what I had in mind. My idea of the clothing/costume, well I was going to have to make myself. A friend of mine came to help dye the fabric for the color, even though we had a couple of tries at dyeing we got it right…..I still can’t believe I actually made a costume! I bought a few items from a local craft store and with the help of Fairytale Jubilee, Alisha, she knew exactly what I was going for and was so willing and generous in making this couture headpiece….It was STUNNING and so different! A Glamour Affair, Kristin and Nisha, did a fabulous job on her hair and makeup (as they always do), it was exactly what I had in mind for this. I enjoy so much working with all of these talented girls, we always have so much fun! Everything came together so perfectly and was exactly the vision I had in mind. Here are a few of my favorites

Looking back on 2012 {Atlanta GA Photographer}

Happy New Year to all!! I am very thankful for all of my family, friends, clients, and fans abroad….I have met some wonderful people this past year and formed many friendships from all over the world. Looking back on 2012 I have learned so much, and still continue to learn. I am going into 2013 with the hopes that it will be just as amazing as it has been this past year. I have some fabulous sessions scheduled already for 2013 and can’t wait to share them with you all……here is a glimpse of 2012 of all the wonderful clients I photographed!
